Signature Hybrid Care Model

Recovery isn't just about feeling better. It's about getting back to the training, rehearsals, competition, performances, and activities that matter to you—with a body you feel confident using.

My hybrid-care approach combines wellness with performance to provide individualized rehabilitation, progressive strength and conditioning, and ongoing support to help athletes and performers build the capacity for what comes next.

These are real examples of progress reported by the athletes and families I work with.

From Pain With Jumping to Greater Confidence in Dance

Client: Youth Competitive Dancer

Challenge:

This dancer was experiencing recurring shin pain that became more noticeable as the demands of class increased—particularly during jumping.

Rather than simply avoiding the movements that caused symptoms, the goal was to understand what her body needed to better tolerate the demands of dance while allowing her to continue training as appropriate.

She needed a plan that could evolve with her training, symptoms, and performance goals.

Building the Plan Around the Dancer

Her care was built around the demands she needed to perform—not just what she could do in the clinic.

Her individualized program focused on:

✓ Progressive strength + loading
Building the strength and capacity needed to tolerate increasing dance demands.

✓ Dance-specific progression
Gradually progressing jumping, landing, single-leg control, and other movements important to her training.

✓ Ongoing readiness monitoring
Weekly check-ins helped me understand how she was responding to training and adjust her program when needed.

✓ Individualized programming
Her exercises and progressions evolved based on what she was experiencing in class, rehearsals, and her home program.

The goal wasn't simply to reduce symptoms. It was to help her build the capacity and confidence to keep progressing in dance.

The Transformation

Progress That Showed Up in Dance

Over the course of her program, she reported improvements not only in her symptoms, but in how confident and capable she felt during dance.

Less Shin Pain

Progressing toward little to no shin pain during petite through grande allegro.

More Confident Jumping

Greater confidence with jumping during both class and rehearsals.

More Stable Landings

Improved confidence and stability landing on one leg.

More Consistent Turns

Reported hitting more consistent doubles on her right side.
